“The truly amazing thing that happened was that – while the economy was in trouble, gasoline prices were soaring, and attack political ads were all over the television – we had record attendance on Commitment Sunday, are approaching our capital stewardship goal and are experiencing a 13% increase in annual giving.”

A Cargill Annual Stewardship Campaign
Purpose
Cargill Associates' annual stewardship campaign, Promises To Keep, is designed to raise the standard of giving by increasing tithes and offerings for ongoing mission and ministry. This campaign will challenge every household to prayerfully consider growing toward excellence in their giving.
Track Record
Promises To Keep has a proven track record of increasing annual operating receipts between 20 to 35 percent in one year.
We Believe
  • To accomplish these results, money needs to be approached from a spiritual perspective. Cargill Associates believes money is a spiritual issue and not a financial issue. The Bible begins with God's ownership. God invites us to be stewards/managers of what has been given. Therefore, every church has a clear mandate to grow God's people toward excellence in their giving.
  • Giving is something people learn. They learn from people they respect and admire. A church, therefore, needs to have courage and be bold when it comes to teaching the gift of giving.
  • Promises To Keep
Cargill Associates' Promises To Keep annual stewardship campaign will team with church leaders in teaching the Biblical principles of giving and growing God's people toward excellence in their giving.
